The IFLY trip was a rewarding experience for all the students. In order to ensure the free body sky dive went well, students had to work together and consider factors such as; speed, mass, area, energy stores and forces that are in effect. After the session, students had the chance to explore the area, take a look at other free body models and participate in some of the interactive activities. The visit finished with an awesome display of human flight by a professional who blew us away! Students enjoyed their time at IFLY and would love to come again in the future.
This was a great STEM trip that really brought the physics we have been studying to real life.
