This week, the whole school enjoyed a magical trip to Winter Wonderland at Lakeside, marking a joyful celebration of the festive season and a chance for students to come together outside the classroom. The day was filled with music, laughter, and unforgettable experiences.
To start the visit, our students confidently performed two festive favourites, “All I Want for Christmas Is You” and “Last Christmas.” Their performance was a wonderful moment of togetherness, showcasing confidence, teamwork, and the courage to perform in front of others. It was fantastic to see students supporting one another and spreading festive cheer.
Following the performance, pupils took part in ice skating, with many stepping out of their comfort zones and showing determination as they practised balance and perseverance on the ice. The smiles and encouragement shared throughout the session reflected the strong sense of community within our school.
The day also included time on the funfair rides, where students were able to relax, enjoy themselves, and celebrate the end of term together. The trip was a brilliant opportunity for everyone to unwind, build positive memories, and strengthen relationships across the whole school.
Overall, the Winter Wonderland visit was a huge success, bringing the school community together, boosting confidence, and ending the term on a truly festive and positive note.
