This week, our football team competed against Orchadise High School. Although the match ended in a 3–0 loss, the team delivered a strong, spirited performance and showed outstanding determination from start to finish. 
The students demonstrated impressive teamwork, resilience, and effort, particularly as they were playing against older Year 11 opponents. From the opening whistle, the team showed commitment, supported each other throughout the match, and maintained a positive attitude despite the challenging competition.
Malachi made several excellent saves in goal, keeping the team in the game during key moments. In defence, Haris, Faizan, and Fuad worked exceptionally well together, staying well‑organised and preventing the opposition from recording a single shot on target in the entire first half.
Zervanie and Jaydon brought energy and drive to the team, chasing every loose ball and consistently tracking back to help the defence. Their determination and work rate were clear examples of the strong attitude shown by the whole squad. 
Overall, the team should be extremely proud of their effort, togetherness, and sportsmanship. Despite the result, their performance reflected real character, teamwork, and a growing confidence that they can continue to build on.
