Celebrating Staff Wellbeing at the End of the School Year

Staff at Redbridge Alternative Provision came together to celebrate the end of another successful school year with a special wellbeing event, recognising the dedication, teamwork and commitment shown by colleagues throughout the year.

The afternoon provided an opportunity for staff to step away from their day-to-day roles, spend time together and reflect on a busy yet rewarding year. A delicious Turkish buffet was enjoyed by everyone, while the summer sunshine allowed staff to make the most of the outdoor space, creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

The celebration also included music and a variety of fun games designed to bring colleagues together. One of the highlights of the afternoon was a lively game of Pass the Parcel, which had everyone laughing and joining in. Friendly competition, smiles and plenty of good humour made for a memorable afternoon and reflected the strong sense of teamwork across the school.

The event formed part of RAP’s ongoing commitment to staff wellbeing, recognising the importance of taking time to celebrate achievements, strengthen relationships and thank colleagues for their continued hard work and dedication.

The afternoon received wonderful feedback from staff. One member of the Senior Leadership Team described the event as “absolutely brilliant”, adding that “everyone I spoke to had a great time.” The school’s caretaker, Bayo, summed up the occasion perfectly by describing it as “the best one yet.”

As another academic year draws to a close, the celebration provided a fitting opportunity to thank every member of staff for their commitment and contribution to the school community. We wish everyone a well-deserved, restful and enjoyable summer break.
