Our Year 9, 10 and 11 Art students enjoyed a fully funded creative workshop delivered by Colours of Redbridge as part of their ‘Here We Share’ programme.
Led by artist Jordan Abankwah, students explored their memories, hopes and aspirations through a range of hands-on creative activities, including marbling, postcard design, printmaking-inspired techniques and portrait photography.
Students created colourful postcards, shared personal ideas and took part in the ‘Message in a Bottle’ activity, giving them an opportunity to express what they would like to see in their community.
It was a valuable experience that combined creativity, culture and community, while giving our students a voice in shaping the future of Redbridge.
