Leaps of faith at Flip Out

This week, a group of four students had an unforgettable experience at Flip Out East Ham, taking part in an exciting trampoline and adventure session as part of our enrichment programme. The trip wasn’t just about bouncing and backflips, it was about teamwork, confidence, and self-expression.

From the very start, the students supported each other, showing fantastic cooperation and encouragement. Whether it was helping a friend master a jump, cheering each other on, or celebrating small wins, the teamwork on display was brilliant. The atmosphere was full of laughter, energy, and positivity as they challenged themselves on different activities, from perfecting backflips to attempting the ultimate “leap of faith.”

The session also gave pupils a creative outlet to express themselves through movement, building confidence while having fun in a safe and supportive space. Physical activity like this helps develop focus, resilience, and emotional wellbeing, important life skills that carry over into the classroom and beyond.

By the end of the visit, every student had stepped out of their comfort zone and achieved something new. They left feeling proud, energised, and motivated, a reminder that when you take a leap, you often discover just how capable you really are.
