RAP Students Celebrate Six Weeks of Creativity and New Skills

After six weeks of learning, practising and getting creative, four of our students have successfully completed their enrichment programme at the Academy of Nails & Beauty in Brentwood, with each receiving a certificate to recognise their achievement.

Throughout the programme, the girls took part in practical workshops covering a range of beauty treatments, including eyebrow tinting and nail art. From learning how different products and techniques work to creating their own designs, the sessions gave students a valuable insight into the beauty industry.

It was particularly rewarding to see how the girls developed over the six weeks. As they became more familiar with the equipment and techniques, they had opportunities to build their confidence, improve their attention to detail and take pride in their work. They also learnt that achieving a professional finish requires patience, practice and the ability to follow instructions carefully.

The programme was about more than beauty treatments. It introduced the girls to an industry full of opportunities, from working in salons to potentially starting their own businesses in the future. Sometimes, being introduced to something new is all it takes to discover an interest or talent they didn’t know they had.

A huge congratulations to all four girls on receiving their certificates! It’s wonderful to see our students completing a six-week programme with new skills, valuable experiences and something tangible to show for their hard work.

Who knows? We might have a few future beauty entrepreneurs in the making!
