Following the completion of their English and Mathematics exams, students enjoyed a well-deserved enrichment trip to Thriftwood Scout Camp on 22nd June. 
Students took part in a range of outdoor activities, including archery and crate stacking. Archery proved to be both exciting and challenging, with several students quickly developing their skills and confidence. One student commented, “The whole day was amazing. My favourite part was the archery as it was my first time firing an arrow.”
The crate stacking activity required students to work together to build and climb a tower of crates while secured in a safety harness. The challenge encouraged teamwork, communication and perseverance, resulting in plenty of laughter and a real sense of achievement. Reflecting on the experience, one student said, “I had a really great time on the trip. I really loved the crate stacking activity, especially because it was challenging and fun at the same time.”
Another student was equally enthusiastic, saying, “I really liked the trip on Monday. The whole day was perfect. I loved the crate stacking part because it was really fun and hard too.”
Lunch by the lakeside provided an opportunity to relax and enjoy the surroundings before heading home after a successful day. 
The trip was a fantastic opportunity for students to celebrate the end of a busy exam period, build confidence, and strengthen friendships through shared experiences and outdoor challenges. The positive feedback from students reflected just how much they enjoyed the experience and the memories they created together.
